It was truly a pleasure to have the opportunity to interview this beauty. She is divinely walking in the promises that God has given her. Her writing creativity speaks for itself…
Just read and watch… BIG things are transpiring
RPF: Anntreece, are you originally from Fort Worth, Funky Town, as they call it?
AJP: (Laughs) Yes, I am from Ft. Worth, Texas and I grew up in the historical “Stop 6” area; an East Ft. Worth neighborhood that is famous for basketball and the Old Interurban Train. “Stop 6” was the 6th stop on this train from 1902-1934.

RPF: Where my “Stop Six” natives at? I need you all to support and represent!!!
RPF: As a creator, I know life as a child had to be interesting!
AJP: (Laughs) As a child I was very bossy.
RPF: No way!
AJP: I loved to do things decently and in order. I always had to be the leader; I always had to have the best ideas; and I always forced my family to walk around the table and sing “Mary had a little lamb”. They had to march, move a certain way and be very synchronized. I often was highly creative as a child, formulating story lines at a young age with my dolls. A lot of times my parents would come into my room and ask: Who are you talking to? So creative writing has been in me since I was young. Being a leader and visionary started early and making sure my vision was carried out.
RFP: Wow, (Laughs) Not, “Mary had a little lamb” Well, they say our gifts/talents are hidden in our childhood.
Anntreece Jones Age: 5
RPF: So, when did you discover this amazing passion for writing?
AJP: When I was younger, I hated writing, but I was a good storyteller. I knew how to formulate stories in my mind however putting those stories on paper was a challenge. It was not until 2014 that I lost my vision and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis that my desire to write became a passion for me. At that time, the only way to express myself was to write.
RPF: Amazing, and I’m sorry to hear that, one would have never known. One thing we know for sure, is that God is a healer! I mean, the proof is in the pudding, your life is an unfolding story that’s being told every day. You’re a walking testimony!
RPF: What led to the creation of Blocked? Any other plays?
Life experiences led to the creation of Blocked. I was dealing with a situation where my family and I sacrificed our lives and well-being for another life. I have written over 16 play productions.
RPF: WOW, enough said… FOLLOW Her!
RPF: What message are you trying to relay through your plays? Who’s your target audience?
AJP: The message that I am trying to relay is to inspire people and give them hope. Especially if they are in a dark place in their lives. I want them to know darkness is not the end. My target audience is everyone. All ages, colors, faiths and walks of life will get something out of my productions. Though a lot of my content is unfiltered, it is the truth which we all need.
RPF: Amazing! Which is exactly what this world needs…. TRUTH!
RPF: My favorite part, surprise us with a “Fun Fact” about you.
It took me over 30 years to stop sucking my thumb. It wasn’t until I had my second child that I stopped sucking my thumb. At that point, my desire to stop was strong. I wear long nails to this day to prevent from returning to that habit.
RPF: WOW, now that’s an interesting RARE fact! Who knew…And you have such a beautiful smile.
AJP: (Laughs) Thank you.

RPF: Well, I’m sure everyone wants to know…what’s next for Anntreece Jones?
AJP: My TV series Blocked is my priority at this time. I want the audience to come into the world of Blocked. Blocked is a roller coaster of truth, emotions, secrets and pain.
RPF: Can’t wait to see this exciting new series streaming all around the world!
RPF: For someone who is trying to break into the industry or just follow their dreams as a writer, what advice and words of encouragement do you have for them?
AJP: In the words of my husband, just write!
RPF: There you have it, folks…just that simple! Love it!
RPF: Well, Mrs. Anntreece Jones, it has truly been a pleasure getting to know more about you and all that God is doing in your life! I can’t wait to see this new series, Blocked and everything else that God has in store for you. You are truly an amazing woman and example of what God can do if we just have Faith!! Keep doing what you do! You’re inspiring and changing the lives of many!
